We work for end users (building managers, energy managers and Facilities Managers) to retrofit bespoke designed metering arrangements with high quality and accurate metering and monitoring. Extensive sub-metering and metering arrangement design is now part and parcel of building related tenders. Refurbishments to upgrade existing building fabric and services is increasing seen as a way of preserving already embodied carbon and a way of reducing whole of life carbon. Our energy and water contracts specialists have many years experience in identifying whether the supply tariff and capacity arrangements are optimum for a given building and site. Often this may be when new sub-metering has been fitted to verify energy use for a specific area or process where undercharging or overcharging may have taken place. This may apply to landlord or tenant respectively and for mandatory energy reporting purposes such as SECR.
